Global rapport om kompetensbrist 2015

Många arbetsgivare både i Sverige och globalt har en längre tid signalerat att de har stora svårigheter att hitta rätt kompetens. En färsk undersökning som gjorts i 42 länder visar att problemen eskalerar – nu har hela 39 procent av de svenska arbetsgivarna problem med kompetensförsörjningen. Den högsta siffran sedan 2008. Störst brist råder det fortsatt på utbildade hantverkare medan chaufförer klättrat från fjärde till andra plats. Säljare råder det fortsatt mycket stor efterfrågan på, liksom läkare som inte var med på tio-i-topp-listan förra året.

“In ManpowerGroup’s 2015 Talent Shortage study, we talked to 41,000 hiring managers around the world, and found that 38% of them are having greater difficulty filling jobs this year, compared to last. This is the highest rate we’ve seen since 2007. Talent gaps impact competitiveness, increase turnover amongst existing staff, and can result in a failure to meet customer demands. This talent shortage is in line with the gradually increasing number of job openings in the US (a little over 5 million currently) and the decreasing rate of unemployment.

So, what’s a hiring manager to do? I see the smartest companies taking these approaches and they might work for your organization as well.”
